Non Places

Referring to the french philosopher Marc Augé this series deals with the term “non-places”. According to Augé the socio-cultural concept “Non-places” has no own identity. They are monofunctional – they are only there to fill their purpose. In this documentary series, I visited those places which are normally rowdy and full of people as they were empty - therefore I tried to discover the essence of the places and re-think the definition of identity.
